Corsages can be worn at many formal occasions. At weddings they are usually worn by the mothers of the bride and groom and, quite often, by grandmothers too. However, brides may also choose a corsage instead of a bouquet; specially designed to give a real wow factor. Corsages can be triangular, round, curved in crescent shapes, long and straight, etc. They do not have to be worn on the lapel, they can be worn on any part of the body eg wrist, waist, shoe, etc. Whilst the flowers and designs may be chosen to complement the bride’s flowers or the colour scheme chosen for the wedding they can also be selected to complement the wearer’s outfit. Corsage-like designs can also be added to hats, handbags, hair combs, etc.
